Services for Playing
In-Home Respite Program


Eligibility

Open to families who live in Morris County. 

Individualized in-home support is provided to a family.
Families may receive up to 20 hours per month.

Individuals served under the age of 21 may have
mental retardation, developmental disability or a
developmental delay.

Individuals 21 years or older must have mental
retardation.

Individuals referred by DDD must also meet Arc/Morris
eligibility criteria.

Under a contract with the County of Morris individuals
who are not DDD eligible but meet Arc/Morris eligibility
criteria and may be provided respite service.

 


Ages Served
6 weeks to adulthood
 


Description
Services are provided in the family home at times
scheduled to meet the needs of the family.

NOTE:  If a family receives In-Home Respite, it is
NOT ELIGIBLE for Aftercare, Saturday Respite, or
Respite Recreation Program.
