Eligibility
Open to individuals residing with their families or skill
sponsors.

Individuals must have mental retardation and be able
to comply with residence safety requirements.

DDD referral required.
 

Ages Served
Age 21 years and older.
 

Description
The Arc/Morris operates 2 respite group homes
providing temporary respite for families and caregivers.
Each serves up to 6 individuals.

Residential respite typically ranges between 1 and 14
days, but can be longer.

There is a pre-planned calendar scheduled for accessing
Residential Respite that is coordinated by the DDD
Family Support Coordinator and the Arc/Morris
Director of Program Support Services.
